Discussion for Living Out Loud....

Talking to strangers can be very hard for anyone...but sometimes it can be the most precious gift we can give others and God.

Hey everyone! I hope that you all enjoyed LOL (Living Out Loud).

(We missed yall Court, Kelly, and John)

Now that most of us have experienced LOL what did you think? Was it anything like you expected it to be?

Do you think that this is a "doable" form of "evangelism"?

What would you change about it?

Did you find that it was easy, hard, or just too different to really be able to explain what you were thinking about when you were doing it?

What do you think would be the possibilities of this way of living out lives?

Thank yall for coming out ad experiencing LOL and please continue to attempt to practice LOLing through out this week and let talk about it here as well as next Friday.

Remember next Friday will be back @ Starbucks, 7:00 pm...Hope to see yall there! Take care and God bless yall!

it's funny how one hour walking around the mall can change your perspective so much. this week, it seems like there are so many more opportunities to talk to people, even though my schedule hasn't changed at all. personally, friday night was a great challenge for me to be christ-like even in the apparently random and meaningless encounters...

Yeah I can see how LOL has made you see into yourself and notice the more selfish side. Wen we first did this ministry a lot of the cllege students would say things like, "this was the first time that I realized that my mission field was in my own mall and I always assumed that it was only in another country". It does open our eyes to realize that there is a world around us, and that we do so much in our lives that revolved around us..and not others or God.

Now with the LOL expereince we can encourage everyone to be intentional with developing relationships with others that might realy benefit from the community of Th3 Waters.

Oh And Sylvia:

I agree with your suggestion for the Johns...but in this case if you click on John's name then it will take you to John Choi's blogger page, heh....heh.

YOu know what? I love you guys. I was just reading all of these comments and I was actually just hit with how much this group has touched my life. It is weird, but I am finding that you guys are the most significant relationships in our lives...exactly what this ministry is all about: real, authentic relationships. I guess all of this to say that I am so thankful for you all.

Oh, and I continue to be blown away by Riley's prayer request. I think that Riley looks at life and people exactly how we are trying to get ourselves to look at things: that everything is kinda in God's hands...every area of our lives. It is as if she is always listening or watching to pray for someone. I want to be like Riley
